Alex Meneses
was born Alexandra Estella DeAnna Meneses, on the south side
of Chicago. She is of Mexican descent on her father's side, and
Ukrainian descent on her mother's. While in high school, she
studied acting at Chicago's Second City Improvisational Theater,
during summer vacations. Immediately upon graduation from high
school, the lovely Alex got a modeling contract, her assignment
was in Milan, Italy. Originally she was to stay in Italy for
only 3 months, but fell in love with Italy and stayed there for
2 years. When Alex came back to the USA, she headed to Los Angeles,
where she studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. Alex
has appeared in numerous L.A. stage productions, and then went
on to several feature films. Alex portrayed Teresa Morales for
one season in "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" TV series
(1997-98), and played the sensuous Roxie to perfection in Flintstones
in Viva Rock Vegas, The (2000). |
